According to reports in Italy, Roma have reached an agreement with the newly promoted Premier League side Fulham for the transfer of Justin Kluivert. It’s at the final stages and the two clubs intend to close a deal in hours.

It has been reported that Fulham and Roma have agreed on a loan deal worth €12 million under an obligation to buy players based on the number of appearances they make for the Whites this season.

There have been other reports this week that talks are underway for Kluivert’s transfer. In France, Foot Mercato even claimed the player had already agreed to move to Fulham, who now needs to reach an agreement with Roma.

At the same time, Benfica and Sport are also interested in signings with Kluivert, the Portuguese press constantly talking about the issue, invariably pointing out that players are more likely to move to the Premier League partly for the reason that the Biancocelesti are able to offer satisfactory wages.

Kluivert Sr signed for Roma in 2018 after the club legend Francesco Totti called him to persuade his son to join the club.

However, after spending the past two seasons on loan at Bundesliga side Leipzig and Ligue 1 side Nice, the Dutchman failed to establish himself in the Eternal City, only to score six goals and assist in 32 appearances last season for the latter.
